FY24 Annual Action Plan Public Comment

CITY OF ROCHESTER- NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD In accordance with federal regulations governing the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds, public input will be solicited for 30 days, beginning on March 21, 2023, to comment on the proposed CDBG Program Year (PY)23 (FY24) Annual Action Plan. The CDBG Annual Action Plan identifies how the City plans to use the federal money during the next fiscal year to meet the goals and objectives the are outlined in the FY 2020-2025 Consolidated plan. Draft FY 2024 Annual Action Plan Summary: Based on an estimated amount of $229,576 for PY 2023/FY 2024, the following activities are proposed for the used of CDBG funds July 1, 2023- June 30, 2024: Administration and Planning - $45,915.20; Public Services- - $34,436.40; Projects including Housing, Economic Development and Facilities/Infrastructure-$149,224.40. It is estimated that 100% of public services funding will service low to moderate income residents.

Public Comment Period The draft FY 2024 Annual Action Plan will be available for a 30-day public review and comment period beginning March 21, 2023, after which time all comments will be forwarded to the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
