CITY OF ROCHESTER NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR

CDBG PROGRAM FY25 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN

Notice is hereby given that Rochester City Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 6:00pm in City Council Chambers in the City Hall, 31 Wakefield St Rochester, New Hampshire regarding the development of the City of Rochester’s FY25 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan, which is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
CDBG funding has a 15% cap for non-construction public services, and a 20% cap on planning and administration costs. Projects under preliminary consideration for the FY 2025 Annual Action Plan include, but are not limited to: supportive services for homeless youths, emergency housing for domestic violence, homeless shelter services, substance abuse treatment and recovery services. It is estimated that 95% of the funding will service low to moderate income residents.

Citizens are invited to attend the above noted PUBLIC HEARING, to be conducted in City Council Chambers in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester New Hampshire on the date and at the time noted above an to ask questions and/or to otherwise speak on the proposed action plan.
