Licensing a New Dog

New dogs and puppies have to be registered two weeks from their rabies shots. Veterinarians are required by law to inform the Clerks Office of all rabies shots given.  The following fees apply.

Puppies (less than 7mo)$7.50
Neutered/Spayed Dogs$7.50
Adult Dogs$10.00
Dog owned by senior Citizen (65)(limit 1 dog)$3.00
Transfer from another NH Town$1.50

Group License

For owners of 5 or more dogs. (Visit from ACO required)

Rabies Clinic - Saturday, May 14, 2022 (12pm to 2pm)

45 Old Dover Road, Rochester, NH 03867 (Old DPW Building)

CASH ONLY ($15) Cats must be in a carrier and dogs must be on a leash.

The Deputy City Clerk will be available (onsite) to license your dog(s)
