Mission Statement
The mission of the Rochester Assessing Department is to administer the City’s assessment program in a courteous and professional manner that assures impartiality, fairness, equity, and transparency, and to preserve a staff with the highest level of technical expertise to maintain compliance with all State of New Hampshire Statutes and Rules and City of Rochester Ordinances regarding tax assessments, abatements, exemptions, and credits.
