45/55 North Main Street Construction Update

From Steve King, Senior Project Manager, Groen Construction:
The following activities will be going on for our project in the month of November:
- Complete the Eversource permanent power ductbank work at the Union Street lot including the transformer pad and secondary power conduits
- Continue with EIFS synthetic stucco work at building envelope facade
- Continue with interior roughing in work for MEPFP trades
- Place and finish the interior first floor car parking slab on grade
- Continue with interior insulation and drywall finish work from fifth floor level down
- Start painting sub on the sixth floor
- Continue with interior steel stair installation at stair # 2 including railings
- Place concrete at stair treads and landings of stair 2
- Continue with exterior scaffolding removal after completion of EIFS and wall caps
- Finish framing the first floor wall at N Main and install granite and precast panels for the front entrances
- Install overhead garage door to inside parking area
- Receive cabinetry, flooring and interior doors and start installation work at the sixth floor
