Construction Update: 45/55 North Main Street

Here's an update of activities for the next four weeks:

• Complete storm drain line work to connect building roof drains to the city storm drain in N Main.
• Complete work for Eversource power to the building from the Union Street switch into the Union Street parking lot and set new transformer.
• Complete secondary power lines and communication lines into the building.
• Install EPDM roofing systems to get the building watertight at high roof and fifth-floor roof terraces.
• Receive exterior windows and start installation with all required flashings.
• Work on the exterior walls to install EIFS exterior finish on building envelope walls.
• Continue with interior metal stud partition framing.
• Continue with plumbing piping interior rough in and connections.
• Receive fiberglass showers for installation at apartments.
• Complete all roof drain and overflow drain piping connections.
• Continue with HVAC condensate and line set rough in work.
• Start work on the interior fire sprinkler system.
• Start work on electrical rough in of the apartments.
• Start the installation of steel stairs at two locations in the building.
