Media Services Work Team

About

The Media Services Self-Directed Work Team manages and updates key policy documents such as the GovTV Policy, The Rochester Post Policy, Electronic Message Board Policy, Social Media Policy, and the Cable TV Franchise Agreement. The team consists of 5-7 staff members, including at least one City Council representative.


Mission

Our mission includes negotiating the Cable TV Franchise Agreement, maintaining policy documents online, and enhancing communication with citizens through various media. The team conducts public surveys, reviews public feedback, and assesses media effectiveness, making recommendations to the City Manager.
