About

At Rochester Rec, we believe the recipe for a great summer is simple: provide a safe environment and keep kids outside, active and having fun! Role model staff engage campers in a day full of outdoor activities, games, swimming, and crafts. Camp takes place rain or shine, with indoor activities in the Rec Center Gym. For over 60 years Rec Camp has provided generations of Rochester youth with positive childhood experiences and a sense of belonging. We look forward to welcoming our camp families, old and new, into this community tradition! All families are expected to read the Family & Camper Handbook, and you can find a link to the handbook in the RecDesk program notes. We want camp to be a fun, safe experience for every camper and staff member. Click here to learn if Rochester Rec Summer Camp would be a good fit for your camper.
